JYP On Jay’s Return

Park Jin Young speaks up officially about 2PM JaeBum for the first time on MBC Golden Fishery.

On Golden Fishery aired on 11th November, Park Jin Young said, “If JaeBum comes back, he will return as part of 2PM of course. It will not be a solo comeback.”

MC Kang Ho Dong then asked, “Do you have to send JaeBum off to America in such a rush?” and Park Jin Young replied, “When JaeBum’s case was exposed, it was put under great criticism. And when he returned to the States, suddenly public opinion was ‘Was there a mistranslation?’ and that he did not do any wrong. The answer is in between.”

 

He continued, “Even though it was not like it is a mistake, it was not like it wasn’t a mistake as well. Someone who is responsible for part of the culture or has nothing to do with our culture should not be receiving the criticisms.”

“JaeBum is not a bad child. Back then he was going through a tough time and was not motivated at all. He even said to me ‘If it is not Park JinYoung’s song, I am confident of success’. But I like it that he does not lie. JaeBum has been changing and the JaeBum now is very different from the JaeBum then. The JaeBum back then had caused hurt to many Koreans, but the JaeBum now is very embarrassed by what he has done and does not want to burden the group as the leader so he has decided to leave. If it’s me I would have done the same.”

Add-on translation:

Kang Ho Dong then asked, “As the company, shouldn’t you stop him?” Park Jin Young said, “He did wrong, and on his own he thought that he did wrong. If you care about JaeBum, I think that public opinion and fans should leave him to be. He will know that everyone cares, but leave him to be for now.”

Lastly, he said, “The thing that I can do is be help as a dance and song teacher to help him keep his standards as a singer up during this resting period. When he is willing to return on to the stage, I will help him willingly. If JaeBum is to return, he will return as 2PM and not solo. JaeBum, the other members and myself will not want a solo comeback.”

2PM: Jay Might Come Back?

Finally som sliver of clear skies in Kpop 🙂

On the upcoming episode of MBC’s Golden Fishery set to air on the 11th, JYP carefully brought up Jaebeom and hinted about his return to 2PM.

JYP Entertainment stated:

“We slightly touched upon Jaebeom’s possible return, JYP’s statement can be considered another step in that direction. But it is not set in stone. However, this should at least answer fans’ confusion and clear up the situation a bit.”

Although the details of the full episode have not been revealed yet, it is hinting at the fact that JYP is actively pursuing and anticipating Jaebeom’s return. This is also the first timethat JYP has spoken on this issue.

Park Jaebum To Finally Speak Out?

On a variety program through KBS 2TV ‘Sunday Night’ airing on the 25th, footage will air of Jaebum’s life in Seattle.

The show will be MC’d by Nam Heesuk. The producers have stated “We are meetingJaebum for the first time after he left for Seattle. He avoided our interview but has finally come through at the end for a short video message and has sent it to us himself.”

In the video, Jaebum states “I am rethinking my actions and behavior and am working out a way to learn from them. I have nothing else to say. I think time must pass before I can say anything“

Actually this thing is going on and on like a really bad sinetron. Some people want him back. Some morons people want him dead. Some who don’t actually care but for some reason they have no life want to be part of the drama and are slamming him anyway. Best solution for the moment. Back off the situation. Jaebum agrees too.

Jaebum Controversy Aired On Seattle News

omg they showed his house. fans may be crazy but the reporter is dumb…? if you know there are crazy people who might stalk him why reveal personal information???

hahaa and he said ‘fled the country’..so drama..though i also thought he shoulda mentioned the crazies who signed the suicide petition. i have been talking to a few fans who say that jay ran because he’s not being ‘strong’. i’d say to them to try being a foreigner in a country where a great sum of people want you to die and see how strong you are. If Jay wants time to reflect and let things die down before he comes back then shouldn’t we respect the choice he made. And PS: a huge scale protest does not let things die down but might actually cause him to stay away longer coz in case you haven’t noticed as big an effort you make trying to get him back, the antis following your progress are hell-bent on keeping him away. Just look at the ‘To Jaebum’ forum which had to be taken down because of the still crazy, still got nothing better to do antis bashing him on his own forum. You ask what time is it? I think it’s time to think of a smarter method to end this unnecessary controversy.
