090716 TVXQ releases “Stand By U” single in Korea

S.M.Entertainment which Dong Bang Shin Gi belongs to has announced that the single “Stand By U” will be released in Korea on the 16th (Which is today!). The single had already been released for 2 weeks in Japan.

This single has already sold 180,000 pieces one week after its release, and is placed number 2 on the Oricon Charts. The company is going to release the CD and the CD+DVD versions and hope that this new single will gain good response from the Korean fans.

The song “Stand By U” is a heart-warming and romantic song, and it is well-liked by many people thus made the choice as the theme song for BEETV’s drama “Sweet Room”. The single also contains a song with beautiful lyrics that expresses the feelings to lovers/couples. This CD will also have Tohoshinki’s 7th Japanese single, “Sky” so there will be a total of 3 songs.

The CD version has specially inserted a remix version of “Stand By U”, and the CD+DVD version will include the music video.

On the other hand, Tohoshinki is going to participate in Summer A-Nation 09 on the 1st of August, where it gathers all the popular Japanese stars together.

Stand By U Sells Almost 200K

Today, with sales of 16,582 for this week, Tohoshinki’s 28th single “Stand by U” ranked at #7. Combining the sales from the first week (182,068), the total sales for this single have reached 198,650, making it a possibility that this will be their first single to pass the 200,000 mark.

Tohoshinki’s 4th album, “The Secret Code”, which was released in April, sold 2,249 copies this week, ranking at #32.

Stand By U Korean version out by July 16th

SM Entertainment’s group TVXQ’s 28th single “Stand by U” will be released on July 16th in Korea.

The single was released on last July 1st in Japan thus the Korea release is approximately 2 weeks after the Japan one.

After one week release in Japan, “Stand by U” single is sold more than 180,000 copies and was recorded on ORICON Chart 2nd.

There will be 2 versions of this single, CD and CD + DVD versions, which is expected to get good response by fans.

The title song “Stand by U” is a love song with warm melody and becomes BeeTV drama “Sweet Room” soundtrack.

Another song to be expected is a song with beautiful lyrics, “Tea for Two” and the bonus track, “Sky” is TVXQ’s 7th single in Japan. There are in total 3 songs inserted in the single.

In CD version, also inserted “Stand by U” remix special while in CD + DVD version, is included “Stand by U” MV.

I really like this video! It’s so them! Junsu is really cute here, getting distracted by birds XD I have no idea what Yunho is doing talking to the doll O_0 I liked the part when JaeChunMin were pretending to play basketball^o^ Yoochun’s butt, rofl! Jaejoog seems fascinated with the camera, apparently it is their first time using a motion- control camera. There’s a part where Yoochun and Jaejoong were playing the piano and for a moment I seriously thought Yoochun was a girl (the back view) I fail as a Yoochun fan XD The last part was nice too, Yoochun bows to like almost everybody after filming ended!
